Striped Eeltail Catfish

Striped Eeltail Catfish (Plotosus lineatus)
Changi, 2nd November 2008

This freshly dead catfish was left high and dry on the top of a seawall, most likely needlessly killed by an angler who didn’t bother to toss it back.

Based on the length of the barbels, I suspect that this is a striped eeltail catfish.
