Daily Decay (15th February 2017): Tropical Swallowtail Moth (Lyssa zampa) @ Marina Bay Financial Centre

This fragment of a Tropical Swallowtail Moth’s wing was found on the ground outside Marina Bay Financial Centre, where more than a hundred of these moths were counted on a single afternoon in mid-2014. These moths had undergone a population irruption that year, and for several months, they were extremely abundant in many parts of Singapore.
