Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher (Ceyx erithaca)

This Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher was found by Sarah Marie Pascoe and Riane Francisco in front of a building with reflective glass doors. It is likely that it had died after crashing into the glass. The carcass was subsequently retrieved by David Tan.

A boulder with an encrusting hard coral still attached to it was found along a footpath. This is likely to be a species of Coelastrea, Platygyra, or Favites.

Male Indian Peafowl (Peacock) (Pavo cristatus)

Sentosa has a population of introduced Indian Peafowl and Green Peafowl (Pavo muticus), as well as hybrids between the two species; this Peacock had clearly been killed by a vehicle.
